I just reached home from Arab Street, headed down to CR for a re-training (which, in my view was quite redundant) and got my Milestone dummy handset replaced. Haha, i honestly still find it impossible that some people do have a thing for dummy handsets. Like really? It's just a non-working *bai-sui* phone, fancy that dummy who took it away took it away... Just now when i told my in-charge about the stolen dummy, he was pretty nonchalant about it he even told me another incident where all dummy sets will stolen. So it's like this......
Security Guard fell asleep while on duty of guarding a Starhub roadshow. The dummies were locked in the glass panels on the display and canvas sheets lay on top of it. When security guard woke up, he realized that all the glass panels were broken and all display DUMMY handsets were stolen. However, the working ones stored in the storeroom remained intact!! Unbelievable isn't it? Omg, i find it totally hard to believe that burglars this 'clever' still exist! Lols if i had no choice of my home being broken into but i can get to choose the burglars, i would choose these 2 burglars man! * Nice one laaa! * Lols, Okay i should stop sounding like a bimbo. But frankly speaking, what's the use of those dummy sets? Do garang-guni men accept these dummy sets? So what do they do with them? Decorate their houses with them? I'm so confused now ):
Back to the story, so i got it replaced but i have a feeling that it's gonna be stolen again (wahahha~) and i explored Bugis Street yet again. Sometimes i hate being such an impulsive shoes shopper but look at those cute little wedges; those little blue ribbons with polka dot printed on them, look at those velvet heels with hidden platform and it's in NUDE! Who can resist? They burnt a huge hole in my pocket but i still love them like little babies :) Oh & i just received an email informing that my spree loots had finally arrived ! Will be meeting spree organizer the following week to collect ^^ YAY ^^V
Okay, ending it here already. Gotta head to bed will be working at suntec tomorrow! One week past by like a breeze yet again. The past weekends i had been promoting the newly launched Motorola Driod/Milestone smart phone. I have been given one set to explore and 'm loving it much :) The phone however, was unexpectedly cheaper than i anticipated it to be but it's good news for you people isn't it? Many customers bought it immediately upon hearing the price even though i didn't really chiong sales much since there wasn't any commission given. I met some funny promotors from other brands like Acer, Samsung, Lg etc.. LG was the joke of the day because during our lunch break we toured around Tangs and he tried a DKNY perfum not on the paper but he sprayed them into his mouth, not intentionally of course! But it was a good laugh, honestly speaking!! HAHA I haven't meet anyone as funny as him before man, but he's nice lah. They are all nice people i think, didn't communicate with them much since i was isolated in an ulu area in the shop i was separated from them.
Weekdays was spent at Missy Style, the apparel retailer which i'm working under. I kinda like the environment here albeit the low salary because the people are nice it's just like one big family so i feel really happy working for them and i would chiong sales for them willingly. Furthermore, my boss is a couple which are extremely nice people - normally employers wouldn't allow their staff to choose their working schedule but they do! Plus, i told them about my weekend job and they encouraged me to take it up! I was madly touched by their actions, their generosity, no wonder their business is successful (good karma :0) ..
So i spent the last 2 weeks @ my boyfriend's home since his house is nearer to town and i'm finally back at my own home today! I went to grab some bites for my boyfriend and his colleagues this afternoon from Chinatown and they were all smiling like babies - so happy lor - it's like finally i'm treating them after so long.... > < I like them, i think they are nice people too and i'm quite sure they wouldn't be one of the 'bad apples' in my boyfriends' circle of friends. He has another clique of friends whom i honestly do not like but what can i say? It's not as if he's gonna change for me so just forget it. ):
This holiday i haven't get to meet my secondary clique yet but i've already met up with some cool people like Ena, Yinghui and did some catching up with Fides, Sarina etc..
I hope to meet them as soon as possible , a lot of catching up to do!!!!!! ):

Aloha! Have you been enjoying your holidays so far ? IT fair was madly tiring and this week i can finally rest without worrying about time! Yesterday i received a call from Andrew Gray, it was bad news again ): I think i'm damn suay, why must i always be the only one?
On a lighter note, i have been catching up on movies lately and trust me, slacking at home; watching movie while munching on tidbits is the best entertainment on earth. (Apart from dancing & singing, that is ) Anyway, i'm so eager to show you how much I've been cheated on Mandee. Well, not exactly cheated by them but i just feel so cheated because 1 month ago i ordered this closet @ $20.99USD but this afternoon i coincidentally jumped onto their website again and gosh! it's only $13.99USD now... I could have saved $15 SGD on this piece of junk. ( sigh ) Now you know how impulsive i am when it comes to shopping? Zzz.
Also, my sister just made me feel 10000 times lousier because I've just lost my chance of earning $600 this holiday within one week. Damn it, moneyyyy please stop running away from mummy T.T !

I can't stand my messy blog layout at all. After IT fair, i'm surely gonna do something about it. Right now, it's time to head to the bed because yours truly will be busy promoting internet Tv tomorrow till sunday. good night everyone!
1 cup boiling water (may be replaced with freshly brewed coffee to get the coffee flavor)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9' round pans.
In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla, mix for 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer. Stir in the boiling water last. Batter will be thin. Pour evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake tests done with a toothpick. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
*Note: Let the cake cool completely before frosting it, the best is to leave it in the fridge for 15minutes before frosting.
Variations
You may cut the top of the cake to make a flat surface before adding the frosting.
You may divide the the batter in two and transfer to two bake tins. The baking time would then be about 15-20 minutes (but this is not encouraged because there will be differences between the two cakes as a result of different baking time )
Instead of vanilla extract, you may use an equivalent amount of freeze dried coffee to get a coffee cake.
You may use ½ cup of freshly brewed coffee instead of milk or water to get mocca flavor
2 cups powdered sugar or confectioner's sugar (i used icing sugar)
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 to 5 tablespoons lukewarm/cold milk
Directions
Cream the softened butter with powdered sugar in a bowl. Add cocoa, vanilla and 4 tablespoons lukewarm milk, and mix until smooth. Do not over-mix. If necessary, add some more milk.
Use one 1/3 of the frosting between the two layers, 1/3 on top, and the rest around the cake.
Refrigerate the cake for around 2hours & serve in room temperature
* Note: for step 1, mix the butter with sugar until a smooth and pale yellow cream has formed before adding the other ingredients - this is to ensure that sugar has melted completely and the frosting made will have a smooth texture.

But not before two days later after Zara Client-based project is 100% completed . Currently, the guys are able to leave earlier than us, rest more than us because we are still left with one last client-based project and Friday is the actual presentation. Sigh, why do we always make life difficult for ourselves? By striving for the best, by doing so many extraordinary things just to get fanciful marks which are sometimes redundant ?
The rest of them are leaving for Vietnam in a couple of days hence i will be alone this holiday, maybe it's time to catch up with some old and lost friends. Speaking of which, somehow i do have my regrets for not applying on time - the trip would be fun for certain since all the fun people from 03 and 04 are going. Some other classes as well :)
Anyway, you may have noticed my title for this entry - lucky day/news.
Last week i had two examinations, one of which i CARELESSLY FORGOT my ADMIN CARD in my examination room. I was so forgetful that i totally forgot about my administration card from the point i left the hall. Then i received a call the next day from my sister and learnt about it - this was when i finally realized..
After much procrastination....
I finally arranged with the kind invigilator and have since collected my card back from his protection. Aw, these kind of lecturers make me feel so lucky that kind souls still do exist in the world ( besides my dearest boyfriend, that is) ..
The second incident happened because ...
I MINDLESSLY DIDN'T FILL IN my ADMIN & SEAT NUMber and apparently, i heard from the teachers that my results will be void.
So for one whole week i have been worrying sick and forced myself to recall the incident - was it a mistake or did it really happened? And this morning, i concluded that i REALLY DID'NT FILL INspan class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';">at all! Imagine how anxious was i! Throughout HRM Exam this morning, i was consistently thinking about my grades, worrying about my careless mistake. I got very paranoid and nearly broke down into tears after the exam. I finally decided to call Mr Ron & see if there's anything i could do to make up for it and guess what??!!
HE SAID IT'S ALRIGHT! HE ASSURED ME!
OH,HOW HAPPY WAS I!
At that point i felt as if i had won lottery or something,
i was half thankful; half grateful and wholly relieved ! It could possibly be my most happiest and luckiest moment of the year 2010!

Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof auto eyeliner in Noir
Firstly, i think mine has a twister problem because when i twisted a considerable amount of liner out, it couldn't go back. (I just wanted to check the whole length of the eyeliner, quite sua-ku i know )
But apart from that, it smudges a few hours later after use (like in 3 hours) making me look like a horrifying panda thus i would never buy this item again. Perhaps it's just me, my eyelids are more oily thus it smudges as easily? The good part of this item is that it has a smudger which is quite easily (then again, which auto liner doesn't have? ) and the black colour is extremely dark with just two layers of liner. It would be perfect to achieve that Gothic or Smoky eyes look since it smudges on your eyelids.
Dior (Longue Tenue) Moisturizing Concealer
Besides good, this concealer is still good. (No joke :) This is a really long tube and i suppose it can lasts me up to a year or so? It's longer than the SANA concealer i had and comparing the two, i would say SANA concealer is good & value for its price (less than $20) whereas this Dior concealer is way better than that but at the same time, costs much more than that. I like that the concealer is very moisturizing and it is able to cover all your flaws up perfectly and dark eye circles without looking like you have just slapped half your foundation onto your face. I have seen people who look like that and i can only say that they are really good entertainers (even without speaking). That is, provided that you need to know the right way to apply your concealer. Yes and this concealer is true to its name - long wear, i wore it out for one whole day and my dark circles are still safely hidden at the end of the day. Although the price is quite steep, i would say it's a good investment. :) You can safely wear it out without your eyeliner/shadow and still looks as good. I don't like concealer which looks obvious and unnatural.
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow
This is a good invention . I was quite skeptical at first about this product but after trying it, its' just fantastic. It stays on for a long time and it is very easy to apply using both you fingers or your brushes. Mine is in Galaxy and it sparkles when applied. I am very satisfied with this product as it allows adjustment of shade of the eye shadow color - for a natural look, i can use a layer while for a glamorous look, i can use up to 4 layers of application depending on how dramatic i want it to be. The problem of my other eye shadows is difficulty in removing when the colors are too thick & each layer is thicken by a lot (Sometimes i applied too much layers and it's hard to remove hence i have to remove my whole face makeup and start from scratch it's just a waste of time!) My skin tone is dark thus the color looks a little like bronze when i leave it on. I would gladly own one of these cream shadows and dispose of all my other eyeshadow palettes.
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner
This product is extremely good!! I use this with cyber colors eyeliner brush & it is easy to apply. In addition, it lasts really long - i got mine in espresso ink which looks like black. It doesn't smudge at all even though it isn't waterproof unlike Lancome's Le Stylo and the whole tub is very small thus it is very handy & convenient :D One cons is that it's a glass tub hence i get very paranoid that it may break due to slight falls/damage.
Talking about cosmetics, i just realized i lost my make up brushes set! So sad so sad so sad! T.T It cost me $40 bucks and i lost it somewhere in my home! ( Trust me, Asking me to find it somewhere amidst my home it's 就像海底捞针一样)
