Helo! School's been a bully and i hardly have time for myself & my friends lately. But it will all be over in a week's time, i'm glad yet can't help being sad. This will be my last semester in school, in my 3 years of polytechnic & this will be my last 2nd week. !! Boy am i going to miss my beloved friends and probably some fun tutors whom i'll definitely miss!
Marina Square ,
My first trip Millenia Walk turns out to be for work and not for leisure ! I like the goods sold there and the ambiance is really conducive for shopping and dining. It's an extremely quiet mall with a big "Harvey Norman" outlet, my guess is their target audience are families whom specially come to buy furnitures and appliances. You'll be able to find a wide range of Japanese restaurants too, not to mention that my favorite Sushi bar is located here! You know, after 7pm every single day there will be a big slash on the price of the bentos and sushi which makes them really affordable and value for money. Imagine a variety of standard size sushi in a box of 12 at $4.50 only! That makes it less than $0.40 for one! What's more, the sushis are packed in a variety - salmon, ebi egg, scallop and all the 'more expensive' side of flavors! And a box of fried tempura the size of your usual bento box is only $1.50!Love it love it, that day i brought bibiboy there and he couldn't agree less. :] So, i say......... You should try it soon too! :D
Decided to try the "paranomic" feature which shot a 180degrees view of the whole mall. Next time you see something like this, you know you're in Millenia Walk!
One fine day after school and work, I met Wennhan and his brother at Bugis for a late dinner & early supper. We went to Pasta D' Waraku and became their last customers of the day. So lucky and happy that they were still open, we ordered pizza, spaghetti, rice and beef stew. It was my second time dining at Waraku, the first was none other than Heeren's outlet-which somehow did not leave me a good impression.
I realized it's been at least half a year we haven't take pictures together, with the two of us in a picture. Opps, and that he caught that Melody toy for me :]] (Fyi, his house has a garden of these soft toys ! Which comes in a variety of sizes - ranging from the size of a palm to the size of a backpack! And they are all mine hurhur! )
Fooling around with my adorable ;)
Looking frail, didn't sleep well for nights due to projects and too many commitments.
here's what we had:
Corn Soup which i didn't like because i don't really like corn related food.
Ichigo Milk - my favorite! ;]
bibi boy's Beef Stew!!!!!!! This is so super good it tastes like the veggie soup Pizza hut used to serve - which is no longer in their menu. I practically gobbled the whole bowl down. P/s. Notice the Ice tea? it was a spicy ice tea that he couldn't even drink because he accidentally shook some of the chilli flakes which were meant for the soup in it!
My Bolognese Spaghetti with Teri Chicken, it was my first time trying spaghetti with semi-cooked egg. I was reluctant to try it at first... But then, i decided to mix it around and see what it turns out to be....
Surprisingly enough, it was mad delicious! I had to finish everything even though i was already full just in case i'll never have the chance to eat this again! (Probably, just in case i'll migrate to Australia or something? )
Takoyaki Pizza - We were surprised that the pizza was like that. And xiaocong said that "Aye. This is like i can buy the $3.80 takoyaki + $1.50 roti prata, i also know how to make!" and i burst out laughing. And it tasted normal, like tako balls cooked with crepe.
Xiaocong's Curry Rice. It tasted normal too.
We ended the day by a tour around Bugis street but went home empty-handed.
The next day, i tried the Hong Kong cafe's xiaolong dumplings. The cafe was located opposite Starhub and it costs $4.80 for 4 dumplings. I don't really think it's very good. I would say it tasted normal maybe because it was take-away so some flavors had been lost in the box. And it was very messy to eat with the skins all sticked to the aluminium cake holder.
And after all these wonderful food, i was bounced back into reality. Projects, projects and more projects.
Lastly, enjoy your day people !! :]
