Fanciful addicts

"There are no ugly women on earth. But lazy women."

Boo. You know, GSS for me is such a love-hate situation. I hate that the
Sale items are so affordable it makes them really tempting to buy.
But I love that they are so inexpensive its really worth the purchase. (; they never fail to sabotage my saving plans but I dont bear to get mad at them because they make me feel good and look good in many occasions. Oh my, I am so fickle-minded I cant even decide whether I love or hate GSS.
but anyway, after much hesitation I finally got my lovely top from Zara. But I didn't pay for it, bibi boy bought it for me :) this silly boy is my best valued gemstone, his daily tiny actions constantly perks my day up no matter how tough my day had been. Just like last night, the few of us went to Mustafa in the middle of the night to get materials for our project. Bibi boy was worried that I would meet with any mishap as it was really laate and dangerous hence he waited for us to finish purchasing before fetching me home. What touched me was the fact that even though he was already extremely exhausted from a whole day at work, he still endure it though and waited 2hours for me.
He is going to take care of all my expenses during the trip and yet he continues pampering me now by bringing me to fine dining restaurants and buying little things for me when he should be scrimping and saving for himself. Every single night, he would refill my water bottle and place it beside me as he knows that I will get thirsty in wee hours and wake up.
There are so many more.. there are just too many things he had done which tells me hes serious about me. And I really appreciate him. Truly. But its also because of all these little things which resulted in me being too dependent on him.
.... back to the point,  the few of us had a great time shopping in mustafa and yes, we went home satisfied.
That day, I passed by dorothy perkins by chance and exited with a big bag of apparel.  Now I have so so many apparel that I have to bring some of them over to bibi's house.
;p  I am guilty of over shopping. Please handcuff me so I cant spend anymore. And before I have a million worth of assets, dont release me!

Iluma, Millenia Walk, Esplanade Xchange

Helo! School's been a bully and i hardly have time for myself & my friends lately. But it will all be over in a week's time, i'm glad yet can't help being sad. This will be my last semester in school, in my 3 years of polytechnic & this will be my last 2nd week. !! Boy am i going to miss my beloved friends and probably some fun tutors whom i'll definitely miss!

Marina Square ,
My first trip Millenia Walk turns out to be for work and not for leisure ! I like the goods sold there and the ambiance is really conducive for shopping and dining. It's an extremely quiet mall with a big "Harvey Norman" outlet, my guess is their target audience are families whom specially come to buy furnitures and appliances. You'll be able to find a wide range of Japanese restaurants too, not to mention that my favorite Sushi bar is located here! You know, after 7pm every single day there will be a big slash  on the price of the bentos and sushi which makes them really affordable and value for money. Imagine a variety of standard size sushi in a box of 12 at $4.50 only! That makes it less than $0.40 for one!  What's more, the sushis are packed in a variety - salmon, ebi egg, scallop and all the 'more expensive' side of flavors! And a box of fried tempura the size of your usual bento box is only $1.50!Love it love it, that day i brought bibiboy there and he couldn't agree less. :] So, i say......... You should try it soon too! :D

Decided to try the "paranomic" feature which shot a 180degrees view of the whole mall. Next time you see something like this, you know you're in Millenia Walk!

One fine day after school and work, I met Wennhan and his brother at Bugis for a late dinner & early supper. We went to Pasta D' Waraku and became their last customers of the day. So lucky and happy that they were still open, we ordered pizza, spaghetti, rice and beef stew. It was my second time dining at Waraku, the first was none other than Heeren's outlet-which somehow did not leave me a good impression.
I realized it's been at least half a year we haven't take pictures together, with the two of us in a picture. Opps, and that he caught that Melody toy for me :]] (Fyi, his house has a garden of these soft toys ! Which comes in a variety of sizes - ranging from the size of a palm  to the size of a backpack! And they are all mine hurhur! )

Fooling around with my adorable ;)

Looking frail, didn't sleep well for nights due to projects and too many commitments.

here's what we had:

Corn Soup which i didn't like because i don't really like corn related food.

Ichigo Milk - my favorite! ;]

bibi boy's Beef Stew!!!!!!! This is so super good it tastes like the veggie soup Pizza hut used to serve - which is no longer in their menu. I practically gobbled the whole bowl down. P/s. Notice the Ice tea?  it was a spicy ice tea that he couldn't even drink because he accidentally shook some of the chilli flakes which were meant for the soup in it!

My Bolognese Spaghetti with Teri Chicken, it was my first time trying spaghetti with semi-cooked egg. I was reluctant to try it at first... But then, i decided to mix it around and see what it turns out to be....

Surprisingly enough, it was mad delicious! I had to finish everything even though i was already full just in case i'll never have the chance to eat this again! (Probably, just in case i'll migrate to Australia or something? )

Takoyaki Pizza - We were surprised that the pizza was like that. And xiaocong said that "Aye. This is like i can buy the $3.80 takoyaki + $1.50 roti prata, i also know how to make!" and i burst out laughing. And it tasted normal, like tako balls cooked with crepe.

Xiaocong's Curry Rice. It tasted normal too.

We ended the day by a tour around Bugis street but went home empty-handed.
The next day, i tried the Hong Kong cafe's xiaolong dumplings. The cafe was located opposite Starhub and it costs $4.80 for 4 dumplings. I don't really think it's very good. I would say it tasted normal maybe because it was take-away so some flavors had been lost in the box. And it was very messy to eat with the skins all sticked to the aluminium cake holder.

And after all these wonderful food, i was bounced back into reality. Projects, projects and more projects.

Lastly, enjoy your day people !! :]

My personality test

Impulsive

You trust your your instincts. What others may see as rash behavior is, for you, simply going with your gut. Individuals with a high score on the "impulsive" trait tend to try new, sometimes outrageous, things.
You are not timid. For you, spending time microscopically examining the pros and cons of every decision means never getting anything accomplished.
Passionate

You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don't tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.
You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
Aesthetic

You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Original

You are constantly coming up with new ideas. For you, the world as it exists is just a jumping-off place; what's going on inside your mind is often more interesting than what's going on outside.
You don't feel that the road to success is to be a realist and stick to the program; you never stop yourself from coming up with new ideas or telling the world what you're thinking about.
Curious

You like to get to the bottom of things. You're not content knowing what someone did; you want to know why they did it.
You don't simply take things as they are and move on; you're not content skimming along on the surface; you don't feel you're wasting time by digging for the meaning of things.
Understanding

You are willing to take the time to find out what's going on with other people, especially if they're in distress. You're a good listener, you don't criticize, and you offer unbiased, respectful, honest advice when it's requested. With a high score on the "understanding" trait, it is likely that you are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't feel the need to impose your standards on others or say things that, even though true, cause pain.
Introspective

You like your own company; you're a very interesting person. Tracking your own mental processes, knowing what you're thinking and why you do what you do, is important to you. Often, what's going on in your mind is more compelling than what's going on outside. For the most part, those with a high score on the "introspective" trait enjoy reading, taking long walks, learning new things, and other solitary activities.
You are not someone who is constantly looking to be among a group of friends; you never feel bored when you are by yourself.
Accessible

You're comfortable expressing yourself in words and actions, with no self-censorship. You believe that if someone doesn't like what they see it's not your problem, but theirs. A high score on the "accessible" trait suggests that you have a lot of friends, socialize often, and enjoy rap/hip-hop music.
You don't see the need to keep your thoughts to yourself, or to have a zone of privacy that encompasses only yourself and a small circle of friends and relatives.
Cooperative

You enjoy teamwork, play well with others, and prefer getting along to winning.
You're not compelled to win every contest nor to be right all the time.
Upbeat

You enjoy being around others and others enjoy being around you. You have a "live and let live" attitude; because you know that no one's perfect, you are forgiving and happy to give the benefit of the doubt.
You don't feel the need to be controversial or express contrary opinions all the time. You see no reason to go around rubbing people the wrong way.

Yakuza moon

Last night wennhan brought me to chinatown for a romantic dinner by the road and we came home with some goodies.
He bought me " yakuza moon", a well-liked novel which have been translated into 16 languages. The summary seem like a pretty good read and the stunning photographs piqued my interest. I will finish this book soon and share it with you (;

This afternoon I went to Changi airport - (no, not for travel but for my project! ) and it last for one whole day. It left me feeling really restless and exhausted ): well, at least I got to eat Popeyes and I stumbled upon an amazing good deal - 4 ritasport squares only @ $9 isn't it an incredible price?? Cool. Now theres one more reason for me to erm, gain weight. ;D
& my spree items are finally here after months of shipping back and forth in USA!! (;

Projects kill my creativity

I tried to seek for participants for my projects after work today. Like predicted, none of them did me a favor of completing the survey. This feeling of rejection is so strong that I feel like a failure. Entirely. ); imagine 75 sets of survey, ill probably have to approach over 300 people. );

Yesterday ena babe went home with a big grin on her face, now she has a pal that would always be with her & her name is Rara! ! :D I hope this friendship woulld last; )

The ugly facts about Sarah.

That day the long talk i had with Ena dear was the greatest so far and she's such a sweetie pie. She's one of those friends i would like to keep and hide them in my heart so they wouldn't be snatched away. Teehee. Well, if i had a magic spell, i would turn her into a tiny minee human and keep her in a bottle so she can't run away from me..... Then i would keep her in my pocket or in my wallet so wherever i go, she follows. ^^

Few days back some college students from Hong Kong came and sit in our Resort Management class, rather awkward initially but after an hour of tutorial with them i find that they are really nice people. Really like the way the girls speak Cantonese so effortlessly and gentle, there is a very distinct difference between Singaporean's Cantonese and theirs. I am really keen on learning Cantonese though, shall start bugging Wennhan or his colleagues to teach me. Haha!

So, as this blog title suggests... I suddenly received a wake-up call few days ago and decided to start working on my weaknesses...

  1. Since year 1, i am always failing my mid session tests.
  2. I am one of those culprits liable for spending much more than they are earning. (overspending) That's why i will never get a credit card.
  3. Deep down inside, I am a girl with a low self esteem although i always pretend that i have a high self esteem.
  4. I have never entered a club. Although some say i look like i'm a clubber. Well, I do not intend to do it soon neither do I want to be a prey of those typical Ah beng looknig desperados grinding me. Eeeew.
  5. I tend to trust people easily which is why most of the time i get very upset when my friends/peers turn their backs on/ betray me.
  6. I bite my fingernails whenever i'm nervous. It's bad i know, it's an extremely bad habit i've been trying to kick since i was 7.
  7. I am extremely indecisive and sometimes it gets on people's nerves.
  8. More to be added on when i've thought of it....

Anyway, i think i will just end this entry super abruptly as i do not feel like blogging anymore.

Check out my ultra cutesy boyfriend! He's so naughty. So adorable! <3
